معرفی جایزه جدید ایزو

کمیته تازه تاسیس روسای ایزو اخیراً به پیشنهاد آقای دکتر بوریس آلشین (رییس سابق ایزو) جایزه­ ای را با عنوان جایزه ایزو (ISO Prize) بنیانگذاری کرده است. هدف جایزه ایزو تقدیر از افرادی است که مشارکت قابل توجهی در ایجاد درک یا استفاده از استانداردها داشته ­اند به نحوی که در مقابله با چالشهای جهان امروز تفاوت قابل ملاحظه ­ای را ایجاد نماید. این چالشهای جهانی می­توانند در حوزه فناوری، اقتصادی یا اجتماعی قرار گیرند. ایزو در نظر دارد این جایزه را به یکی از پیشگامان بخش بازرگانی، دولتی یا دانشگاهی خارج از جامعه ایزو (کمیته­ های فنی بین­المللی ایزو، کمیته ­های متناظر ملی، دبیرخانه مرکزی ایزو یا سازمانهای عضو) اعطا نماید.این جایزه هر سال در خلال برگزاری اجلاس مجمع عمومی ایزو به برنده آن اعطا خواهد شد که شامل پرداخت مبلغ ۲۰۰۰۰ فرانک سوئیس جهت انجام تحقیقات یا کمک مالی در راستای اجرایی کردن یکی از استانداردهای ایزو که مشخصاً در رابطه با چالشهای اقتصادی، زیست محیطی و یا اجتماعی باشد.
